Venue guide: Civic Hall, Wolverhampton

Wolverhampton’s Civic hall is one of the West Midlands’ most established music venues and houses two different main stages within it, including the 3,000 capacity seated and standing main hall. This venue hosts a number of events including live music, comedy shows, boxing and even record fairs.

Venue information

This venue has two different main stages on its premises – the Civic and Wulfrun. Wolverhampton Civic Hall also promotes events at The Slade Rooms, a five minute walk away on Broad Street.  The Civic Hall stage is the largest of the three venues with the 3000 capacity of both seated and standing. It has a bar that serves both hot and cold snacks. The venue itself has disabled access, as does the Civic Hall area.

Getting to The Civic Hall

By car

The Civic Hall is located within the A4150 Wolverhampton ring road, with access by taking the Darlington Street exit.

Parking

There is no set parking for the Civic Hall, however there are various parking spaces within a five minute walk of the venue in the form of street parking and outdoor pay & display car parks.

By public transport

The Civic Hall is a short 10 minute walk through the city centre from Wolverhampton bus and train station, through Queen Street to Dudley and North Street. For more information on public transport in the West Midlands, please visit networkwestmidlands.com.
